Muskox Expedition
A documentary film project from a winter expedition in the Norwegian mountains, aimed at capturing wild musk oxen in their natural habitat.
The work was carried out under Arctic winter conditions, with temperatures dropping to –20 °C and several days of on-foot fieldwork.
The result is a quiet, visually focused body of work that portrays both the animals and the harsh landscape they inhabit.

About me
My name is Hampus Widell, an outdoor filmmaker based in Sweden. Since 2012 I’ve spent countless nights in forests, along coasts, and in the Nordic mountains — always with a camera by my side. Through my production company, Bromma Filmproduktion, I create cinematic films where nature and adventure meet high-quality visual storytelling.
